The Poconos VRO was created to ensure that vacation rental owners, managers, and supporters have a strong, united voice in the Poconos. We work to protect property rights, promote responsible hosting, and build a thriving, sustainable STR community that benefits residents, guests, and local businesses alike.

The Poconos VRO:

  • Advocates for fair, common-sense regulations that balance community needs with property rights

  • Pushes back against overreach, excessive fees, and harmful policy proposals

  • Promotes and elevates STR best practices for professionalism, safety, and guest experience

  • Educates, connects, and empowers STR owners, managers, and suppliers through resources, networking, and shared knowledge
