Meet the Board

Marty Nicoll brings over three decades of financial acumen and real estate expertise to the Poconos VRO board. With an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University and a BA in Mathematics from the City University of New York, Marty is a numbers-driven leader who knows how to make investments work smarter.

Since 1990, Marty has owned and managed a variety of investment properties, and currently operates three large, high-performing short-term rentals in the Poconos—each designed to comfortably accommodate 12 to 16 guests. Through a thoughtful strategy and a well-built support team, he has consistently driven revenue, increased profitability, and maintained 5-star guest experiences.

Marty also brings 15 years of mortgage lending experience to the table, including 7 years as a Mortgage Loan Officer with Wells Fargo. His background in finance, lending, and property operations allows him to provide VRO members with practical, real-world guidance on everything from financing and investment analysis to STR expectations and management best practices.

As Treasurer, Marty helps ensure our organization stays on solid financial footing—while continuing to support the growth and success of our STR community.
